LDA: “What do you like about partying? Do you think we have something to regret about the 80’s and 90’s? And do you think London crazier than Paris?”
Pippa: “I like partying with lovely people to great music. My idea of hell is being in a big club, no matter how cool it is supposed to be and feeling trapped and forced to listen to heinous music!
I would definitely say London is different to Paris, the scene is much smaller obviously, but it seems much more conservative. That is why something like Buvez Madison is so refreshing, I love the music they play and the crowd love to have fun and aren’t posing - the opposite! I’ve only ever seen one drag queen in Paris and it was only when I saw her I realised how unusual she was …..and brave! Igor is another heroic character simply because he is almost Paris’ only true Club Kid! (in the NY sense).
The 80’s and 90’s were amazing times, but I’m older, the world is different and I don’t really believe in looking back too much. “
